Two more foreign players playing PSL fell victim to Corona

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has announced the corona test of two more foreign players and a local staff member in the sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL).
Speaking at a news conference at the National Cricket Stadium in Karachi on Tuesday, Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Director Media Samiul Hassan Burney said, “The match between Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United will be played on Tuesday evening as per schedule.”He said that 244 PCR tests have been conducted. Three of them are positive. Two of them are foreign players and one is a local staff. The three and Fawad Ahmed will remain in quarantine for ten days.
“There will be another Corona test on Thursday. There are about 300 people in Bubble. Tests have also been conducted on National Stadium staff. Fawad Ahmed will be tested again this evening.It may be recalled that the match between Quetta Gladiators and Islamabad United was postponed in the Pakistan Super League on Monday after the corona test of Fawad Ahmed, a foreign player of Islamabad United, came positive.
The sixth edition of the Pakistan Super League (PSL) kicked off February 19 in Karachi.
The PCB director of media said that 50 per cent spectators would come on the field, the finals would be decided later, and matches would be played with 50 per cent spectators till March 16.He said that every effort is being made to maintain the reputation of PSL, including hotels and grounds, a virtual conference is being held today in which many things will be decided. ۔
