PSL 6: Lahore Qalandars beat Quetta Gladiators by nine wickets

Lahore Qalandars have defeated Quetta Gladiators by nine wickets in the fourth match of the sixth season of Pakistan Super League.
Chasing 179, Qalandars started their innings cautiously. Sohail Akhtar and Fakhr Zaman formed a 64-run partnership after which Sohail Akhtar scored 21 runs and was bowled by Zahid Mahmood.After that Fakhr Zaman and Mohammad Hafeez advanced the score. While Fakhr Zaman has scored a half century off 31 balls. His innings included seven fours and a six.The only wicket from the Eaters was won by league sniper Zayed Mahmood.

 

Earlier, Quetta Gladiators had scored 178 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs. When the Gladiators started their innings, both the openers were soon out. Tom Benton scored four runs and was caught by Haris Rauf while Saeem Ayub was dismissed by Shaheen Shah Afridi.

Then Chris Gayle and Sarfraz Ahmed supported the batting line. The two had a 101-run partnership. Sarfraz Ahmed was dismissed for 40 runs. He was dismissed by Harris Rauf.
West Indies six-wicket haul Chris Gayle batted smoky. He scored 68 runs and was bowled by Rashid Khan. His innings included five sixes and five fours.
Quetta suffered its fifth loss to Azam Khan, who was caught by Ahmed Daniel for 13. Harris Rauf bowled Ben Cutting on a fine yorker.

However, Muhammad Nawaz batted well and remained unbeaten on 33 off 20 balls. His innings included three sixes. While Anwar Ali remained unbeaten on one score.
Haris Rauf took three wickets for Lahore Qalandars.
Earlier, after winning the toss, Lahore Qalandars captain Sohail Akhtar said that a change has been made in the team.
Qalandars have replaced Haris Rauf, who bowled well in their debut match, with Haris Rauf.
Quetta Gladiators captain Sarfraz Ahmed said that two changes have been made in the team.

Sarfraz said the team would try to play well.
It may be recalled that Lahore Qalandars had won their first match against Peshawar Zalmi after a thrilling match yesterday while Quetta was defeated by Karachi Kings in the first match of the event.

 

These players are playing in today’s match for both the teams.
