Pakistan’s last ball victory against South Africa after a thrilling match

Pakistan defeated South Africa by three wickets in the first match of the ODI series after a thrilling contest.
In the match played at Centurion on Friday, Pakistan achieved the target of 274 runs given by South Africa on the last ball of the last over.
For Pakistan, captain Babar Azam scored the most runs and became the man of the match. After scoring a magnificent century off 103 balls with the help of 16 fours, he caught wicket-keeper De Kok while Imam-ul-Haq scored 70 runs, both of which fell victim to Nortji.
Debutant Danish Aziz could score only three runs, he was caught by wicketkeeper De Kok on the ball of Nortji. Asif Ali also failed to perform well and was caught by Nortji on an individual score of just two.Mohammad Rizwan was caught by Rabada after playing an innings of 40 runs. Opener Fakhr Zaman was bowled by Rabada after scoring only 8 runs.
For South Africa, Nortji led four players to the pavilion for 51 runs in 10 overs.
Earlier, Pakistan won the toss and invited South Africa to bat first. The hosts scored 273 for six in the allotted 50 overs.
Ross vendor Dyson from South Africa batted well and played an unbeaten innings of 123 runs.Eden Markram and Quentin de Cock started the innings for the Proteas but were both dismissed by Shaheen Shah Afridi in the same over.
De Cock scored 20 and Eden Markram 19 runs. In the next over, South Africa’s captain Bauma was dismissed for just one individual.
Heinrich Klaassen, who came in at number four after that, could not perform well and made a run and caught Muhammad Rizwan on the ball of Faheem Ashraf.

Pakistan won the toss and elected to bowl first. After winning the toss, Pakistan captain Babar Azam said, “There is some moisture in the wicket which we will try to take advantage of.”
“This series is very important to us. South Africa will try to get out between 270 and 275 runs.
For the first ODI, both teams were composed of these players.

Pakistan: Imam-ul-Haq, Fakhr Zaman, Babar Azam (captain), Mohammad Rizwan, Danish Aziz, Asif Ali, Shadab Khan, Fahim Ashraf, Mohammad Hasnain, Shaheen Shah Afridi, Haris Rauf.

South Africa: Eden Markram, Quentin de Cock, Vander Dyson, Temba Bauma (captain), David Miller, Heinrich Klaassen, Andile Felkiewicz, Kagiso Rabada, Tabriz Shamsi, Enrique Nourke, Lingi Nagdi.
The second ODI between the two teams will be played on Sunday, April 4.

The Pakistani team has played 34 ODIs in South Africa so far in which it has won only 12. However, despite not having a good winning record, the Green Shirts are the only Asian team to have beaten the Proteas in an ODI series at their home ground in 2014-2013.
Remember that the weight of South Africa against Pakistan in ODIs has always been heavy. The two teams have played 80 matches so far, with South Africa winning 50 and drawing one.
South Africa also won three of the last five matches between the two teams.
Pakistan’s tour of South Africa will continue until April 16. In addition to the three ODIs, the two teams will compete in four T20 matches.
