According to Express News, there were phased talks between the government and Tehreek-e-Libek. The third round of talks took place last night in which Interior Minister Sheikh Rashid, Religious Affairs Minister Noorul Haq Qadri, Punjab Governor Chaudhry Muhammad Sarwar, Law Minister Raja Basharat, Representatives from the police and law enforcement agencies attended. The government delegation accepted all the demands but refused to deport the French ambassador and remove Sheikh Rashid from the post of interior minister.The government assured Tehreek-e-Libya that a resolution on the French issue would be tabled in the National Assembly soon, while the arrested activists and the leader would be released. The TLP agreed to end the sit-ins.
