Poor fielding overwhelmed Peshawar Zalmi, Karachi Kings won by six wickets

Defending champions Karachi Kings defeated Peshawar Zalmi by six wickets in the 13th match of the Pakistan Super League season six.
When Babar Azam and Sharjeel Khan started the innings for Karachi Kings, Sharjeel Khan was caught on the first ball of Mohammad Imran.Joe Clarke, who came down one, pushed the score a little further but he scored 17 runs and got out on the ball of Mohammad Irfan.
Karachi Kings suffered the third loss of Colin Ingram’s wicket. He scored three runs and was caught by Saqib Mahmood.After that Mohammad Nabi and Babar Azam stood in front of the bowlers of Peshawar Zalmi and thwarted all their tactics. Muhammad Nabi played an innings of 67 off 35 balls. He also formed a 118-run partnership with Babar Azam.
The Karachi Kings won the toss and elected to field first in Wednesday’s match at the National Stadium in Karachi.

 

Earlier, Ravi Zalmi scored 188 runs in 20 overs due to the excellent batting of Ravi Bopara and Rutherford and finally the aggressive innings of Emad Butt.
Kamran Akmal and Tom Cadmore started the innings for Peshawar Zalmai. Kamran Akmal scored 21 runs and was caught by Abbas Afridi.
After that, Tom Cadmore also fell victim to Abbas Afridi by scoring only 10 runs. The third out was Shoaib Malik, who was LBWed by Muhammad Ellis.
Haider Ali, who batted aggressively in the previous matches, was dismissed for nine runs. He was dismissed by Daniel Christine.

Ravi Bopara and Rutherford then supported the batting line. Both scored 82 for the fifth wicket partnership, but Rutherford could not complete his half-century due to bad luck and was bowled out for 46 by Muhammad Ilyas.
While Russian Bopara completed his 50 off 38 balls, he remained unbeaten on 58.
The 20th over did not go well for Karachi Kings and Emad Butt hit three fours and two sixes to Daniel Christine. He remained unbeaten on 27 off seven balls.
Abbas Afridi and Mohammad Ilyas, playing their first match for the Karachi Kings, took two wickets each.

Shoaib Malik is leading the team due to the injury of Peshawar Zalmi captain Wahab Riaz.
Both teams have played five, five matches. Peshawar Zalmi lost two matches and won three, while PSL defending champions Karachi Kings lost two matches and won three.
For today’s match, Peshawar Zalmi has fielded four foreigners, while Emerging and Karachi Kings have fielded four foreigners and two emerging players.
